JEB Fusion™ Laminated Glass

JE Berkowitz Laminated Glass is produced by sandwiching one or more layers of PVB or structural layer materials between multiple lites (two or more) of glass and applying a combination of heat and pressure to permanently “fuse” the layers together creating Fusion™ Laminated Glass, SentryGlas® Expressions and SentryGlas® Plus, all using DuPont™ technology.

These interlayers can be laminated with clear, tinted, pyrolytic, and coated glass.  A variety of color options can be achieved by combining glass substrates with a clear or translucent white interlayer.

Certifications

Laminates made with .030 mil (.76mm) PVB (or thicker) will meet the requirements for CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Category I and II, ANSI Z97.1 Class A and B, and CAN/CGBS12.1 M Category I and II.  

Butacite® PVB Interlayers have received Miami Dade County’s Product Control Notice of Acceptance (NOA). 

All Fusion™ products, SentryGlas® Expressions™ and SentryGlas® Plus meet the quality requirements specified in ASTM C 1172.  Annealed and heat-treated float glass used in laminates meet ASTM C1036 and ASTM C1048.

Butacite® PVB Interlayers are made with recycled materials which contributes to LEED certification.

Fusion Plus™ Laminated Glass with SentryGlas® Plus (SGP) using DuPont™ Technology

SentryGlas® Plus, or SGP, is a unique Ionoplast structural interlayer offering unmatched clarity. When combined with low-iron glass and SGP, SentryGlas® Plus is nearly invisible.
